My infinite ambition in life to improve and become a more successful member of society led me to pursue an HD followed by a BSC at the HCT ADMC. Moreover; acquiring this degree will not only help me advance in my career, but will also broaden my perspectives and help me apply the potential I have more efficiently to excel.
Apart from the rich technical knowledge, my Mechanical Engineering degree has offered a firm base to my methodical and systematic skills as it involves a wide range of different problems to solve, whether in mathematics or real-life simulations. Throughout the past seven years, I have worked in the engineering department at ADCO (Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations). This fruitful experience involved a lot of travelling and working on different oil and gas sites around the world, which allowed me to implement in practice what I learned in theory. Every day with a new challenge I thank the HCT that helped me in building the knowledge and confidence needed in accepting and defeating all the challenges. In addition to this diverse working environment, I attended an organisational behaviour course that has given me a better understanding of how to manage a team and deal with different mentalities more effectively.
I chose HCT ADMC due to the fact that it is a well-known, respectable institution possessing accreditations that can help me pursue higher degrees nationally and internationally in the future. Furthermore, the high quality and intense experience of its faculty are another motivation to obtain my BSc degree from HCT.
