Dr. Ali Hasan Ebrahim Ali Al Mansoori

College: Ras Al Khaimah Men's College
Year of Graduation: 1999

In 1999, I graduated from the HCT with a Higher National Diploma in Business Information.

I spent approximately twelve years in England obtaining a Bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in E-Science from Huddersfield University, and a doctorate from Leeds University. Education and Information Technology are my areas of expertise.

My career in the educational field spans almost two decades including time spent in teaching, research, public relation and administration. My doctorate was researched and written as a result of my passionate belief about education and the betterment of the country.

I started my career with the Higher Colleges of Technology as a technician, and subsequently became a faculty member in the Information Technology Department. I then became a supervisor of Academic and Student Services. In 2009, I became Associate Director of the Higher Colleges of Technology, Ras Al Khaimah; in this role I have provided leadership and management needs for advancing the college performance and students outcome.

Most recently, being selected as the first person from the Arab world to become a fellow of the prestigious American Council on Education (ACE) has been a fantastic experience and a great honour.
