Under the patronage and presence of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Women’s College inaugurated phase III of its campus on March 28, 2007.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed toured the campus accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, H.E. Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, Chancellor of Higher Colleges of Technology, and Dr. Howard Reed, Director of HCT-Dubai. H.H. Sheikh Mohammed attended a special celebration at the college’s new auditorium marking the college’s official opening of new facilities.

The official party visited the new fitness centre and the Student Centre where student-run businesses Al Waha and Al Jawdah are based. The HCT – Dubai Student Centre also embraces the Thalassemia Centre, Emirates Bank and other businesses.
